The Pineapple Onassis — A Bold, Bright Way to Shake Things Up
This one’s for the cocktail lovers, and it’s coming in hot later this spring at La Padrona Boston. Featuring the unexpected and luxurious KLEOS Mastiha Spirit. The Pineapple Onassis is what happens when classic scotch gets a Mediterranean makeover. We’re talking hints of cucumber, mint and lemongrass. It also provides aromas of carrots, eucalyptus and sage. This drink hits all the right notes, all the right ways.
Here’s what’s in it:
- 1 part KLEOS Mastiha Spirit
- 1 part Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve
- 1/4 oz Drambuie
- 1/2 part fresh lime juice
- 1/4 part simple syrup
- 4 one-inch pineapple squares
- 1 rosemary sprig
How to make it:
Muddle the pineapple and rosemary. Shake all the ingredients and strain into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with a pineapple leaf. Sip, close your eyes, and drift away.
