THE ETHOS
First referenced in Homer’s The Iliad, Kleos is an ancient Greek word. The heroes in ancient Greek tragedies strived to “earn their Kleos,” which means they performed deeds so grandiose, they will be remembered for eternity. The word has a multi-layered meaning ranging from “eternal glory” to “what they say about you.”
OUR MISSION
EARN YOUR KLEOS
KLEOS was founded to share the incredible ingredient of mastiha to the world. With our mastiha spirit, we hope to earn our kleos and restore Greece’s long-lost glory on the global drinks market place!
We started this journey in winter of 2019, with our first #earnyourkleos charity initiative, where 12 bars from Boston signed up to donate $1 from every KLEOS cocktail to the Phoenix House of Dorchester, a women’s shelter that houses 23 women and their children who have been displaced due to addiction, spousal abuse, and job loss.
We raised $4000 in 2 months!
