In this episode of Greece Chats I am chatting with Effie Panagopoulos. Effie is the founder of the Kleos Mastiha Spirit, which happens to be my personal favorite. Effie is the first Greek woman in history found a liqueur brand.
She has over 15 years of experience marketing and selling spirits in the United States from street level and as far as the executive level, for some of the most well known brands such as, Grey Goose, Metaxa, Bacardi and many more.
Her Eureka moment came in 2008 at the infamous Mykonos Beach Bar, Nammos. Which was coincidentally written about in vogue.com, where she decided she would be the one to bring this product to the United States. She has no only created Greece’s first luxury spirit brand, but now has her eyes set on bring the new bottle thats on every bar!
